Term Limits Need to be Mandatory
All public offices need to have term limits. Many of the current problems of the nation-state regime are in part influenced by administrators serving in their office for too long. Whether it be heads of state, congress, parliament members, judicial representatives, or others, term limits on all government offices must be mandatory.
Being in a position of authority has a psychological side-effect; once power has been had, an individual is programmed to retain it. The representative’s mind spends more processing time figuring out how to retain or build power vs. conducting the necessary actions of state. This deficiency of the human mind, being able to step away from authority, is a psychological limitation of the human mind and we must establish the necessary checks and balances to limit abuse.
Enhanced government must build a mechanism for term limits for every office.
